Generalizations, generalizations.

So according to NYT's Michael Slackman, it is over. We might as well go to sleep. "Today, the search for identity in the Middle East no longer involves tension between the secular and religious. Religion has won." When I was child, we could have easily said that secularism has won. It is not over, and the battle (in every society) continues. (thanks W.A.)
